About the Rockie Awards

The Rockie Awards is BANFF's flagship international programming competition celebrating excellence in television and digital content. Hundreds of programs compete for a coveted Rockie. Category winners, including a Grand Jury Prize and the $25,000 Rogers Prize for Excellence in Canadian Content are announced at a special ceremony each year at the Banff World Media Festival.

With participation from 45+ countries annually, including an international industry jury of 150 entertainment and media professionals, the Rockies is one of the world’s largest program competitions of its kind.

The 2019 Rockie Awards will be handed out at the Banff World Media Festival, which runs from June 9 to 12, 2019.
